Our Teachers
I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to my students, as well as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the students as well.
I see my role as not only providing answers but encouraging students to ask the important questions. I prioritize my relationship with them and model the behaviors I want to see in students through good communication and a genuine interest in understanding other perspectives.
Hi! I’m Ethan. I’m from a beautiful, sunny city called Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
I’ll teach you by getting to know your unique strengths and weaknesses. We’ll have lots of fun on your journey to become a fluent and confident English speaker.
My philosophy when teaching is to make my students feel comfortable and at ease. Each lesson I do is tailor-made for the student I am teaching. For my working/ professional students, I aim to concentrate on where they feel they need the most assistance as well as assisting with work presentations, etc., and for the younger students, I work through English homework that they are battling with as well as grammar, reading, oral, etc.
I love teaching my students and finding ways in which they can learn English while having fun. I am dedicated to making their learning experience not only educational but to build a good relationship with the language.
I have 3 years of experience teaching both online and in classroom setting. My love for traveling has brought me to Thailand on a couple of occasions, and with time ,I’ve fallen in love with its people and culture . I am friendly, calm, patient and have a good sense of humor. Let’s talk and improve your English!
I am an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who wants to help students improve their English skills. I enjoy teaching students with different kinds of materials. I try to make lessons easy to understand and I teach things in different ways so that different students can learn in the way that is easier for them.
My teaching experience was great with the Thai students, I love their culture, there was a lot of respect between myself and the Thai students.
Thailand offers enough opportunity for locals to speak English communicatively but they are reluctant to do so out of fear of making mistakes and losing face.
